Position Summary
Meridian HealthCare is seeking an accomplished and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide leadership and direction in all fiscal and business operations. The CFO plays a key role in shaping the financial health and long-term sustainability of the organization by overseeing financial strategy, business development, data analytics, and operational performance.
This position partners closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and senior leadership team to develop and execute strategies that align with Meridian’s mission of providing integrated, high-quality healthcare to the community.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and direct an effective, balanced fiscal organization through the selection, training, and motivation of assigned staff.
- Create and implement financial and business strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
- Identify new business opportunities, analyze market trends, and develop plans to drive growth and revenue.
- Monitor industry developments and adjust business strategies to maintain competitiveness.
- Set financial goals, develop financial plans, and monitor organizational performance to ensure targets are met.
- Formulate and implement policies to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and standardized reporting.
- Interpret analytics and data, translating information into actionable strategies.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, analyzing variances and recommending adjustments as necessary.
- Oversee preparation of all required financial reporting, including monthly statements and grant reports.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, industry leaders, and business partners.
- Identify and implement cost-effective strategies to improve profitability while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to set long-term organizational goals and objectives.
- Drive business development efforts, including strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations for subordinates in accordance with agency policy.
- Participate in staff development, health and safety practices, and agency meetings as designated.
- Uphold all agency policies, procedures, and regulations while supporting Meridian’s mission and philosophy.
- Maintain professional appearance and foster positive working relationships both internally and externally.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field/experience required.
- Proven leadership experience in fiscal management and strategic business planning.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analytics.
- Experience in healthcare finance or nonprofit management preferred.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing fiscal team.
