Title: Event Marketing Specialist

Salary:  $69,800 - $73,200 (depending on related experience)
Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday

Focus: The Event Marketing Specialist is highly engaged in maximizing Winchester brand(s) presence at trade and consumer events.  Promotes key products through strategic planning and execution, with high collaboration across departments.

Event Marketing Specialist Essential Job Functions:  

• Event responsibilities include coordinating contracts, outside agency coordination, scheduling, rental agreements, creative assets, booth management (including set up/tear down), warehousing, branded merchandise sales, staffing, and overall brand presence.
• Identify creative ways to educate and engage with event participants to build brand loyalty or purchase intent.
• Support and promote the launch of strategic new products at trade and consumer events. 
• Consult and support key stakeholders to ensure that event marketing plans achieve the objectives of various departments, including product management, sales, marketing, and the executive team.
• Monitor existing trade and consumer events, assess the competitive presence, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend impactful branded materials and sources from agency partners.
• Fulfill sales requests for point-of-sale materials or event swag.

Event Marketing Specialist Essential Job Functions:  

• Bachelor’s Degree*; Business or Marketing preferred.
• Minimum two years of event marketing, retail, or sales related experience.
• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition. 
• Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SAP experience preferred.
• Must possess excellent creativity, communication (verbal and written), self-motivation, organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, project management, proactive thinking,   and decision-making skills.  
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage high-volume workload and willingness to collaborate and support team efforts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Ability to travel at least 30 days per year, including weekends.

Location-Specific Requirements: 

• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
