JOB SUMMARY
Maintains the Plateau Room dining area, promptly removing soiled dishware and quickly resetting tables, wipes chairs, and maintains floor areas. Works to ensure a clean, safe, pleasant dining environment promoting guest satisfaction and return business.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service, placing customers' service experience first.
- Promotes guest service by maintaining a friendly smile, and greeting, and providing appropriate service.
- Pre-buses, clears and resets tables ensuring all chairs, floors, and work areas are clean and presentable at all times.
- Present guests with bread and water after they are seated.
- Refills water glasses, coffee, iced tea, and soft drinks as needed or requested.
- Performs all side-work duties as assigned or requested by the supervisor.
- Studies and learns menu items and preparations.
- Carefully stacks soiled items in a bus tray/bin and quietly remove them from the table.
- Resets tables with utensils, napkins, and appropriate glassware according to standards.
- Assists servers as needed, including delivering orders, assisting with condiments, etc.
- Complies with the regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
- Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly addresses hazards and reports all concerns to the supervisor.
- Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
- Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
- Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Customer service experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Must possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment.
- Physically fit-able to stand and/or walk for long periods in a smoky environment; able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. using shoulders, arms, and hands; and able to work with cleaning chemicals.
- Effective communication skills-good auditory and visual acuity; able to understand and respond in English.
- Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
- Requires a Low-Security Gaming License.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in table bussing.
