JOB SUMMARY

Maintains the Plateau Room dining area, promptly removing soiled dishware and quickly resetting tables, wipes chairs, and maintains floor areas. Works to ensure a clean, safe, pleasant dining environment promoting guest satisfaction and return business.

         

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Ensures customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service, placing customers' service experience first.
  2. Promotes guest service by maintaining a friendly smile, and greeting, and providing appropriate service.
  3. Pre-buses, clears and resets tables ensuring all chairs, floors, and work areas are clean and presentable at all times.
  4. Present guests with bread and water after they are seated.
  5. Refills water glasses, coffee, iced tea, and soft drinks as needed or requested.
  6. Performs all side-work duties as assigned or requested by the supervisor.
  7. Studies and learns menu items and preparations.
  8. Carefully stacks soiled items in a bus tray/bin and quietly remove them from the table.
  9. Resets tables with utensils, napkins, and appropriate glassware according to standards.
  10. Assists servers as needed, including delivering orders, assisting with condiments, etc.
  11. Complies with the regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  12. Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly addresses hazards and reports all concerns to the supervisor.
  13. Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
  14. Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  15. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Customer service experience, preferably in the food industry.
  2. Must possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment.
  3. Physically fit-able to stand and/or walk for long periods in a smoky environment; able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. using shoulders, arms, and hands; and able to work with cleaning chemicals.
  4. Effective communication skills-good auditory and visual acuity; able to understand and respond in English.
  5. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  6. Requires a Low-Security Gaming License.
  7. Must be at least 18 years of age.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience in table bussing.
