TITLE: Investor Relations Controller 

DEPARTMENT: 995-Accounting       


LOCATION: Quad Cities Market; however other QCRH based locations will be considered based on qualifications and ability to travel as needed 


JOB SUMMARY: 

The Investor Relations Controller will serve as the primary liaison between QCR Holdings, Inc. and the investment community. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive investor relations strategy that enhances shareholder value, ensures transparent communication, and supports the Company’s financial and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance and accounting, exceptional communication skills, and experience in a financial services environment.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Prepare and manage quarterly earnings materials, including press releases, investor presentations, earnings call scripts, investor deck, 8-K SEC filings, and earnings call Q&A supplemental documents. 
  • Coordinate the publication of the annual report, 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy, and other SEC filings in collaboration with legal, finance, and marketing teams. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and rating agencies. 
  • Target new investors with various data collection and outreach strategies. 
  • Organize investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and earnings calls. 
  • Create and update investor profile briefings to support investor conferences. 
  • Respond to investor inquiries and provide timely, accurate information. 
  • Analyze financial performance, market trends, and peer benchmarks to inform investor messaging. 
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align investor communications with corporate strategy. 
  • Monitor stock performance, analyst reports, and investor sentiment. 
  • Prepare various materials for internal Board presentations. 
  • Assist in M&A analysis. 
  • Participate as an active member of the accounting team assisting with the preparation, analysis, and review of various financial reporting (various regulatory/SEC reports and reviews, EPS calculations, etc.). 
  • Ensure all investor communications comply with SEC regulations and disclosure requirements. 
  • Maintain IR website content and ensure timely updates of financial and governance information. 
  • Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements that are applicable to this position. 
  • Provide insights to senior leadership on market perception and investor feedback. 
  • Support capital markets activity, including equity or debt offerings, as needed. 
  • Participate in community engagement events. This can include professional, civic and community groups. 
  • Foster and preserve a culture of inclusion. 
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be required to support the company’s mission, vision and values.  

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. CPA, MBA, or CFA preferred. 
  • Five to ten years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, equity research, or accounting. 
  • Experience in a publicly traded financial institution or bank holding company. 
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, FDIC, Federal Reserve) 
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, capital markets, and banking industry dynamics. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience with IR tools (e.g., FactSet, Bloomberg, Nasdaq IR Insight, S&P Global), Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe. 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to organize and manage a variety of projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Capability to manage sensitive information and uphold confidentiality. 
  • Capability to work and collaborate with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and professional manner. 
  • For individuals located outside the Quad Cities market, a willingness to travel to the Quad Cities area for meetings and collaborative engagements is expected. 

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Duties are performed in a professional office environment. 


SALARY & BENEFITS:


The minimum salary range for this position is $100,000 annually plus bonus earning potential. The actual starting salary will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law.


This position is a regular full-time position, and individuals employed as regular full-time, are eligible for the following benefits subject to the terms, limitations and conditions of each benefit plan: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, FSA, HSA, 401K, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and additional Voluntary Supplemental Insurance.
