We are currently looking for an Audit Coordinator to join our team in Plover, WI.
About the role
As an Audit Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across our plant operations. You will oversee finished goods release, manage quality systems like SAP and Intelex, ensure accurate documentation and traceability, and support shop floor audits, coaching, and investigations. This role is critical in identifying, solving, and preventing issues that impact product safety, legality, and quality—helping us uphold McCain’s trusted brand promise.

Statement of Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Coordinator to oversee key quality processes such as finished goods release, net content compliance, and food safety documentation. This role combines hands-on floor support with quality system expertise to ensure compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement in our quality and food safety programs.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee finished goods release and disposition of non-conforming or rework inventory
Track and report KPI metrics such as product holds and scrap
Support traceability exercises, recall readiness, and consumer complaint investigations
Act as SAP QM Superuser and manage functions such as inspection plan setup, traceability, and quality master data
Serve as Intelex Quality Superuser: lead training, usage, and system maintenance
Maintain and control quality documentation in line with corporate policies and audit readiness
Support net contents software, perform compliance assessments, and generate summary reports
Audit GMPs, paperwork, and quality procedures on the production floor
Conduct daily HACCP documentation reviews and behavior-based quality observations
Provide coaching, training, and process gap analysis to support continuous improvement
Coordinate sample shipments and manage batch status and warehouse hold/release processes
Participate in special projects and assist with third-party and customer audits
Available to work flexible hours and support alternate shifts as needed
Special Requirements
Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work with urgency
Analytical skills and statistical knowledge to interpret quality data
Familiarity with HACCP, food safety systems, and regulatory compliance
Comfortable working on the production floor and in fast-paced settings
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Scope of Authority

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies)
B.S. in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field (required)
1–3 years of experience in food manufacturing or laboratory setting (internships considered)
Understanding of food safety, HACCP, and food regulatory requirements
Basic food science knowledge and statistical analysis capability
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office preferred
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to move throughout production areas and conduct audits
Prolonged standing and walking
Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
Flexibility to work non-standard hours when needed
