Part-Time, Non-Exempt Position (On-Site)


Eve International Logistics is a third-party logistics company focused on delivering fast and efficient supply chain solutions to customers. The Company was founded in 2017 and has experienced strong growth since its inception. EVE is located in the Lincoln Square neighborhood in Chicago, surrounded by several shops and restaurants. It is walking distance to public transportation via the L train - the brown line (Western Ave.) - to allow for several commuting options.

The Office Manager is a detailed-oriented and organized individual responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Chicago office, which is the headquarters. The ideal candidate for this role will be enthusiastic, organized, and proven ability to take initiative, and can work independently and collaboratively. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and ordering of office and break room supplies. 
  • Maintain office facilities, assist with scheduling routine maintenance and handle office repairs or service requests. 
  • Support with janitorial needs and management.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and packages.
  • Assist with planning and facilitating office and out of office events. 
  • Perform various administrative tasks. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related issues, ensuring a well-functioning workplace.
  • Support onboarding processes in collaboration with HR and IT.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; bachelor’s or related field preferred
  • Experience in hospitality or office management / administration preferred
