Job Title: Senior Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis

 

Purpose: Reporting to the Head - Financial Planning & Analysis, this role is to support the various businesses in the network to achieve the finalized growth path through effective budgeting, forecasting and analysis activities. 

 

Education: Postgraduation in Management/ CA

Experience: 10-12 years of relevant experience

Location: Mumbai

Reporting Relationship: Senior Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis

Financial planning and MRP

  • Work closely with all business/ functional heads to understand and analyze the key factors that can impact the business and profitability for the year
  • Support and/or lead the annual exercise for preparation of Mid-range plan by liaising with all stakeholders
  • Track operational spends/ budgets frequently and help in identifying issues that can hinder achievement of desired profitability levels for the organization.
  • Provide recommendation and institute tools/ methods to monitor the progress on strategic goals
  • Lead the team’s efforts in preparation of the monthly/ quarterly management reports/ MIS and ensure delivery of high quality financial and analysis data for review of the department head and senior leadership
  • Timely meeting of strategic goals

Forecasting and Budgeting

  • Liaise with business heads/ functional head and support in finalization of channel / function wise budget
  • Review all budgeting templates and reports and provide guidance to the team to enhance its effectiveness
  • Support the Department head in completion of the annual budgeting exercise for the network by liaising with all business/ functional heads and contribute in designing of the appropriate budget forecast for each channel/ function by using robust forecasting models and assumptions.
