Position Title: Production Operator
Department: Information Technology
Reports To: Production Assistant / Senior Vice President of Information Technology
Supervises: N/A
Classification: Part-Time, Hourly
Job Responsibilities
- Assist and provide all media service for events including video production, audio, and marquee message boards as applicable.
- Operate cameras and control room equipment as needed for events.
- Assist in other areas as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Assistant.
Additional Job Requirements
- A minimum of 1- 2 years of experience with audio and video systems.
- Demonstrated sound organizational coordinating and personal interface skills.
- Extensive knowledge of electronics and electrical systems, audio and video systems, lighting systems, and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of lighting systems, CCTV, Broadcast TV, Scoreboard and electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of non-linear video editing systems, specifically New Tek TriCaster video playback, replay, cameras and related hardware.
- Knowledge of all software- and hardware-related computer issues.
- A wide knowledge base of audio, lighting, broadcast and video equipment used for live event production.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, TriCaster and other related software.
- Proven experience with video/matrix boards at a fast-paced arena or similar event venue.
- Prior Daktronics experience a plus.

- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Speak, read and write in English.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Extended hours, nights and weekends may be required during peak periods.
- Frequent or continual movement from place to place with normal physical mobility, covering long distances with ease, managing assigned tasks throughout various indoor and outdoor locations within and around the property and in potentially inclement/severe weather conditions.
- Regularly lift, carry and put away items weighing up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and carry heavier items and/or assist others in lifting heavier objects, as job demands.
- Walk and/or stand for extended periods in addition to other prolonged physical exertions including seeing, hearing, reaching, grasping, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, crouching, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing and working in awkward positions and tight areas may be required.
