Your role at BHSN:
The Associate Director of Practice Management (AD) reports to the Director of Clinical Services or designee with a focus on operations, customer experience, and fiscal performance of the assigned program or department. The AD is tasked with supporting the implementation of daily operations, aligned with the agency’s goals and strategies with a focus to include but not to be limited to, clinical excellence, training, and ancillary programming. Provides operational and administrative oversight of applicable programs to foster growth and program advancement through the integration of a continuum of services while maintaining quality of care and cost-effective and efficient practices to promote the individual’s and organization’s well-being.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

What your day might look like:
- Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Services in setting and aligning programmatic vision, operational strategy and hiring and organizational strategy. Translates strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement department-wide goal setting, performance management and annual operating planning;
- Oversees operations and employee productivity within assigned programs (ancillary and otherwise), building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met;
- Ensures effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention;
- Adheres to company, federal, state and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary;
- Analyzes internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement;
- Develops actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the Director of Operations or designee;
- Achieves targets relative to growth and profitability;
- Monitors performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed and prepare detailed reports – both current and forecasting;
- Maintains and builds trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners and stakeholders;
- Ensures the integration of clinical and administrative evidenced-based practices throughout the continuum of clinical services;
- Ensures coordination of care between organizational programs/services with community partners;
- Evaluates and documents the quality and efficiency of clinic services programs; identifies areas for improvement; directs implementation of changes;
- Develops, recommends and administers organizational policies and procedures;
- Develops and coordinates program expansion efforts to new services and sites, as needed;
- Maintains compliant programming and ensures that operational areas meet or exceed compliance standards and goals in accordance with BHSN policies and state/federal regulatory standards;
Your skills and qualifications:
- Previous working experience in a senior level operations role for three plus years;
- BA/BS (Masters preferred) in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or similar relevant field;
- In-depth knowledge of different business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing etc.;
- Hands on experience in strategic planning and business development;
- Sound knowledge of data analysis and KPI’s;
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation required for local and regional travel.
