Corporate Accounting Associate bei Sentry Management

We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Corporate Accounting Associate in our Home Office in Longwood, FL. The corporate Accounting Associate supports the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as well as check posting, data entry, and reconciliation activities. This is an in-office position with the possibility of a hybrid schedule in the future.

Responsibilities Include:

• Daily check and deposit posting to Accounts Receivable
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting information for posting to the general ledger
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Assist with month-end closing by providing necessary reports and supporting documentation
• Ability to research, analyze, and interpret numeric data and produce results within critical turnaround time
• Handle all matters with confidentiality, sensitivity, and knowledge
• All other duties as assigned

Applicants Must: 

• Have a minimum of 2 years of accounting or finance experience
• Associate's degree or above, preferred
• Be professional, organized, and self-motivated
• Be able to work independently with little supervision
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have a proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• Knowledge and skills in proper accounting principles, practices, and procedures (US GAAP)
