The Ocean City School District is accepting applications for the following position:
Level I Help Desk Technician
Location: Primary and Intermediate Schools
Effective Date: ASAP
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in Help Desk management and competence in technologies within an educational organization
- Experience and knowledge of software, installation and troubleshooting related to computer/electronic equipment including but not limited to PCs, laptops, iPads, Chromebooks, tablets, smartphones, and other peripheral devices
- Knowledge of basic networking, client machine installation on a network, and LAN/WAN
- Experience and knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Local/Azure Active Directory, and Google G Suite for Education
- Ability to train and communicate with diverse audiences (staff/students)
- New Jersey Criminal History background approval, HIB training and proof of New Jersey residency required by all successful applicants
