Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to support a new innovative program. The ideal candidate will work closely with Program Manager (PM) to support organization efforts. The ideal candidate will serve as the main interface between performing companies and organization, assessing technical and programmatic risks, tracking progress, projecting outcomes, and ensuring that project management best practices are followed across performers, IV&V activities, and organization itself. Work Location: Onsite: Arlington VA.

 

Required Experience:

 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new subjects and gain rapid insights into current and next-generation research topics.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Prior experience working in a STEM field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing technical projects or programs.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

 

Desired Experience:

 

  • Experience with technical project management and guiding programs through full life cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and synthesize emerging research topics.
  • Experience supporting DoD or government-sponsored research activities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with DARPA’s technical, programmatic, and contractual environment.
  • Self-starter capable of leading and supporting teams within a complex, cross-disciplinary environment.
