About The Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven team member to fill a role in driving business growth, supporting practice operations, and assisting with key stakeholder relationships as a trusted advisor to OCFO leadership. This key position will play a part in shaping the future of our practice, supporting business development, pipeline management, client experience, operations and other areas.
This role will be responsible for supporting strategic plans to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and enhance our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with leadership to develop and execute practice growth strategies, drive operational excellence, and support strategic initiatives
Support business development and sales growth through pursuit pitch creation, research, sales lead generation, and direct sales support
Coordinate activities for client relationships, client administration, and the sales cycle
Develop and maintain pipeline management structure, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions
Lead practice knowledge management initiatives, ensuring quality and consistency of practice materials
What You’ll Do
Business Development:
Oversee proposal development process and quality control
Support market research and gather intelligence on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to inform business development strategies
Coordinate business development initiatives with target accounts; establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales
Work with Marketing team on firm initiatives related to pitch materials, email campaigns, competitive research and client relationship management and associated systems
Support the development high-value contracts and agreements
Support OCFO marketing strategy in coordination with the firm marketing team
Coordinate with central marketing team on cross-functional initiatives
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Develop and maintain the OCFO’s network of CFO and finance executive relationships
Support, as needed, client administration processes, including new client setup and agreements
Perform, as needed, new client setup activities, including but not limited to Salesforce entries, conflict checks, engagement letter drafting, and matter code administration
Pipeline Management & Reporting:
Establish and maintain robust pipeline management structure ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy
Support weekly pipeline reviews, reports and status calls with leadership team
Develop and present content on pipeline performance, trends, and insights to inform business decisions
Track client acquisition sources and identify referral patterns to inform go-to-market (GTM) strategy
Conduct regular analysis to review engagement realization, utilization, budget, and other key metrics to inform engagement economics and optimize resource allocation
Knowledge Management:
Lead the development of key practice materials, spanning professional biographies, qualifications, pitch materials, engagement documentation, social media campaigns, and thought leadership content in partnership with the firm’s knowledge management team
Ensure quality and consistency of practice materials (quals, bios, pitch decks) through collaboration with central marketing team to maintain accurate and efficient updates
Oversee the OCFO knowledge repository, driving improvements in content access, searchability, and reuse
Coordinate with firm-wide knowledge management initiatives
Strategic Leadership & Practice Operations:
Support stakeholder engagement initiatives
Assist in the planning and development of internal practice group meetings, as well as client events
Support practice-wide operational excellence and efficiency improvements
Other:
Ad-hoc tasks requested based on evolving practice needs

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of professional services experience, with significant exposure to C-suite relationships
Bachelor's degree
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
Proven track record in business development, practice operations and process improvement capabilities
Strong understanding of the CFO role and corporate finance
Excellence in stakeholder management, with strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and leadership
Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Salesforce or related marketing platforms, and Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, MSWord, and Excel
Ability to travel to client site(s) and FTI Office(s) as needed
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer on a fulltime basis: this position does not provide visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree preferred
