Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support the vehicle production and procurement operations for Czinger Vehicles. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading engineers, manufacturing experts, and supply chain professionals in a fast-paced, high-performance automotive environment. You will gain hands-on experience across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations, supporting the production of some of the most advanced vehicles in the world.
The Role
- Assist with procurement activities including issuing purchase orders, tracking supplier performance, and expediting parts to meet production deadlines.
- Support material planning and scheduling, ensuring alignment between engineering requirements, build schedules, and inventory availability.
- Help manage inbound and outbound logistics, including freight coordination, shipment tracking, and documentation.
- Participate in inventory management activities such as cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and ERP system updates.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve supply chain issues and maintain production flow.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects, identifying ways to increase efficiency, reduce lead times, and strengthen supplier relationships.
- Analyze supply chain data to support reporting, forecasting, and operational decision-making.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Passion for the automotive industry and advanced manufacturing is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or project experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar supply chain software.
- Exposure to automotive or aerospace production environments.
