Your Role at KIK

Join our team as a Shipper Receiver, In this role you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the shipping and receiving department is operating efficiently. Responsibilities include loading and unloading the shipping area, maintaining a clean work environment and assisting with various projects. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant.  Bring your expertise and tools to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. The shift time is 1st Shift from Monday – Thursday from 9:00am – 5:00pm as well as Fridays from 7:00am – 3:00pm EST. This position has an hourly rate starting at $21.00 per hour. Apply now to be part of a great team!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Safely operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift with accuracy, precision, speed, and minimum supervision 
  • Shipping, receiving, and order picking at the warehouse 
  • Must be able to get along with and work well with others 
  • Lifting boxes and pails with pool materials 
  • Reading pick list and completing TDG training 
  • Checking and double-checking accuracy of orders and items 
  • Work independently and as a team to complete goals and tasks

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 6 months of experience operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift and have valid forklift license 
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 
  • Strong command of the English language (written and verbal) 
  • Must have basic math skills 
  • Must be able to work OT and weekends when required 
  • Able to safely operate a forklift and must pass an internal safety evaluation test 

Physical Capabilities

  • Occasionally exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force (up to 1/3 of the time).
  • Frequently applying 10 to 25 pounds of force (from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time).
  • Constantly exerting greater than negligible force, up to 10 pounds (2/3 or more of the time) for moving objects.
  • Must have the ability to perform the following: Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Handling, Feeling, Seeing, Hearing
