As the Retail Administrative Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the Retail Division Management team. Duties include general clerical, Branch office reporting preparation/interpretation while projecting a professional company image through in person and phone interaction. Customer service and administrative experience are important while Stock Yards Bank & Trust will provide a professional environment to continually improve the candidate’s skills to further his/her career goals for advancement within the banking profession.

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Assists Retail Administration Manager with all aspects of Float Pool management including:
    • Interviewing, hiring, training, and retaining float team members (including Management Associates/Floating Office Managers and Summer/Seasonal Interns) in Louisville MSA
    • Scheduling float staff for Louisville MSA, based on business and customer needs
    • Reviewing and approving time cards and requested time off
    • Providing coaching, counseling, career pathing, and performance reviews
  2. Assists Retail Administration Manager with preparation of various reports, including all reports related to branch production and goal tracking
  3. Coordinate customer and employee events, working with Marketing and other departments, team members, or offices, at the direction of Retail Administration Manager
  4. Assist in the creation, implementation, tracking, and communication of branch contests
  5. Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments for the management team including providing agendas and communication
  6. Perform administrative tasks including but not limited to the following; reconcile GL entries, keep branch information and phone trees current, maintain business continuity plan, place orders, etc.
  7. Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, College degree preferred
  • 5 years of administrative experience or 5 years of Retail banking experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced Excel skills is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time through completion
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong grammar, spelling and business writing skills
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Supervise the Float Pool

This position requires sitting the majority of the time with limited walking and standing. Travel between branch offices is required on a monthly basis.  All work occurs indoors and within regular working hours. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
