Overview:

The Solutions Architect Lead will act as a senior technical leader within the Advanced Technology Group at PCI Federal Services’ Washington Business Office. This role supports corporate priorities and strategic growth by developing compliant, innovative, and executable solutions aligned with customer needs. Focus areas may include Mission Engineering, Digital Transformation, AI/Data, Cybersecurity, and Cloud/Enterprise IT, tailored to address evolving operational and technological challenges.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with business development and program teams to define the overall solution strategy and approach, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and requirements by integrating industry insights, technical expertise, and mission understanding.
  • Leads cross-functional teams of solution architects, technical SMEs, and partners to develop integrated, cost-effective solutions for proposals that align with customer requirements and strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Effectively communicates solutions during interviews and reviews; identifies potential risks and develops strategies and plans to mitigate them
  • Maintain architectural alignment with NIST, DoD, and IC compliance frameworks.
  • Ensures proposed solutions are accurately represented in both written and oral responses.
  • Briefs and prepares the delivery team to ensure a successful program startup.
  • Ability to modernize AWS/Azure and cross-cloud routing architectures.
  • Maintain documentation of network topologies and interconnect dependencies.
  • Recommend open-source and commercial AI tools aligned to portability and compliance needs.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies for classified and unclassified environments.
  • Facilitate technical workshops with cross-directorate stakeholders.
  • Engages with industry as an expert in advanced and emerging technologies through though pieces, panel participation, and social media engagement.
  • Designs and manages roadmap for technical advancements for the ATG in line with business strategy, solution lines, and top priority growth campaigns
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, computer scient, electrical engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years in enterprise architecture, cloud solutioning, or related senior technical roles.
  • Proven expertise in Cloud, IaC, Application Development, and/or enterprise networking.
  • Experience designing solutions in classified DoD or IC environments.
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and NIST/DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain).

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML platform design, vector search technologies, and secure data lakes.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary technical teams in high-stakes environments.
  • Proven ability to lead and grow a high-performing architecture team in mission-critical environments.
  • Experience integrating emerging technologies into secure, regulated operational contexts.
  • Strong vendor management and partner engagement skills within government or defense sectors.
Pay Range:USD $230,000.00 - USD $280,000.00 /Yr.EEO:
