Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct site visits to review conditions and assist in developing accurate scopes of work.
  • Perform detailed material and quantity take-offs based on bid documents.
  • Assist in preparing work plans, work packages, and coordinating subcontractor and self-perform scopes with field supervision.
  • Support estimating efforts, including budgets, change requests, bulletins, and field order quotations.
  • Participate in the solicitation, review, and preparation of subcontractor, supplier, and distributor proposals.
  • Contribute to bid package development and finalization of scopes of work with trade estimators and the Sales Department for client submission.
  • Assist with purchase orders and subcontract administration, including vendor coordination.
  • Support project cost tracking, reporting, and overall management efforts.
  • Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Attend and actively participate in project, safety, and training meetings as required.
  • Perform on-site duties as needed to meet customer and project requirements.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience and/or internships with a general contracting or construction management firm, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and Salesforce preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, time management and teamwork skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, with demonstration of doing what’s needed to get the job done right.
  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including safety policies and procedures and other company policies.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Will require outdoor work with exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Occasional work in elevated areas or around hazardous materials.
  • Travel to project sites and extended hours as needed.
  • Must maintain physical stamina for navigating construction sites and comply with all company and site-specific safety protocols.
