Description
The Enterprise Systems Technician supports the delivery, maintenance, and optimization of RVCU’s enterprise platforms and digital systems. This role serves as a key resource for internal staff by ensuring the reliability and functionality of core and digital systems, resolving service desk tickets, and managing knowledge systems. Under the general direction of the VP IT, this position is responsible for executing technical support and system administration tasks that align with strategic initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Highly proficient in PC applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and core system software
· Ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team
· Knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, core processes and procedures
· Demonstrated skill in understanding programs, researching issues and features within the program, and manipulating data and information within parameters and capabilities
· Ability to make decisions and take initiative toward problem and conflict resolution
· Ability to exercise tact and responsibility with handling confidential information
· Positive, can-do attitude and teamplayer
Essential Job Functions
• Collaboration: Works closely with the VP IT and technology team to support enterprise systems and contribute to ongoing improvements in internal processes. Participates in discussions around system enhancements and collaborates across departments to ensure alignment with credit union goals.
• Projects and Assignments: Supports cross-functional projects involving enterprise platforms, including Eltropy and core/digital systems. Responsible for completing assigned tasks and service desk tickets in a timely and effective manner.
• Focus on Purpose/Mission: Demonstrates commitment to RVCU’s purpose of making a positive impact and its mission to educate, build relationships, and deliver exceptional service. Uses technology to support member and staff experiences that contribute to credit union growth.
• Enterprise Systems Support: Provides technical support for enterprise systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance monitoring. Ensures systems are functioning optimally and supports staff in resolving system-related issues. Provides suggestions for process improvement as it relates to enterprise systems.
• Eltropy Platform Administration: Manages and maintains the Eltropy platform, ensuring seamless communication and integration with other systems. Continually reviews interactions and makes necessary changes to improve member experience. Serves as a point of contact for platform-related inquiries and updates.
• Digital Systems Knowledge Management: Maintains and updates internal knowledge bases related to core and digital systems. Ensures documentation is accurate, accessible, and supports staff in navigating system processes.
• Community Advocate: Represents RVCU in a professional manner and supports community engagement efforts. Maintains visibility and involvement in initiatives that reflect the credit union’s values.
Requirements
· This is a full-time position with partial remote flexibility after a training period
· Education equivalent to 2-year degree in information systems, technology, or related field.
· Experience equivalent to 1-2 years in supporting enterprise systems, such as financial core systems, omni-channel communication platforms, or other related digital systems, preferably in a financial institution
· Will consider combination of work experience and education
· Depending on your skills and experience you could make between $22 - $24 per hour.
