Job Purpose
In this role of the Asset Specialist you will be responsible for execution of all asset related processes and procedures for assigned asset class. Responsibilities also include the following: load required repair and/or inspection demand for shop operations, maintain dedicated staging areas for assets, allocate, stack, and deploy assets for upcoming rental jobs, segregate assets requiring major repair and communicate effectively with Supervisor to schedule shipment, and error-free processes and metrics to meet safety, operational and financial goals. The Asset Specialist is accountable for major repair documentation and tracking and process control.
Job Description
- Responsible for process execution in relation to revenue generating assets, and customer property safeguarding for assigned asset class.
- Executes asset status updates through each stage of the workflow to ensure accurate and real-time status using SAP and InteServ.
- Move materials from location to location by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors or other material handling equipment.
- Take complete responsibility for preparation of shipments by staging, counting, documenting, and packaging materials for safe transport.
- Loads and unloads trucks according to established safety and operating procedures.
- Process paperwork and arrange for transport through 3rd party provider.
- Distribute received shipments by delivering materials to requestor. Process paperwork to record transaction.
- Communicates asset needs to Supervisor to ensure local business needs are met.
- Accurately track and maintain appropriate storage of customer property.
- Assist with load outs or any staging of equipment.
- Assist in customer audits and cycle counts to support asset control activities.
- Use e-mail and company intranet for basic communication tasks.
- Practices good housekeeping in assigned area and properly disposes of waste according to safety and environmental policies.
- Observes and demonstrates safety behaviors consistent with TFMC Safety polices. Reports unsafe working conditions and behaviors per standard protocol. Takes reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe acts.

- Must be able to read, write and comprehend written and verbal English language (Safety, Quality & Operational instructions).
- Strive for continuous zero defect/error of assets tracking (knowing at all time whereabout of assets and their statuses)
- Must have ability to comprehend internal documents such as TechnipFMC Drawings and shipping documents.
- Must be able to prepare shipping documents using MS Excel and understand how to exchange documents electronically.
- Effectively use interpersonal and communication skills including tact and diplomacy.
- Effectively use organizational skills with attention to detail and consistent follow through and completion of assigned tasks.
- Must have ability to operate a forklift, overhead crane, machine (jib) hoists, hand tools, power tools, and tape measure.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Exposed to possible shop hazards, which may include high noise, heavy equipment and machinery, temperature extremes and yard/shop traffic.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stands, walks and bends 90% of time. Spends 10% of time in temperature controlled office environment. Lifts up to 50 pounds manually, uses material handling equipment for over 50 pounds. Fast paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change. PPE compatibility required.
