The Capital Analyst within the Procurement Department will play a key role in supporting Lucky Strike Entertainment’s growth and operational efficiency by analyzing, tracking, and optimizing capital expenditures across multiple venue types including bowling centers, family entertainment centers, and waterparks. This role bridges finance and procurement by ensuring that all capital projects, equipment investments, and vendor contracts align with company strategy, budget controls, and return-on-investment targets. The Capital Analyst will provide insight into spend patterns, evaluate vendor proposals, and ensure cost-effective decision making while maintaining quality and brand standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

Capital Planning & Analysis 

  • Partner with finance and operations leadership to forecast and track capital expenditures across bowling, entertainment, food & beverage, and venue build-outs. 
  • Develop financial models to evaluate ROI, payback periods, and cost-benefit scenarios for proposed capital projects (e.g., new scoring systems, kitchen equipment, AV/lighting upgrades, arcade investments). 
  • Maintain detailed capital project trackers and dashboards, monitoring budget vs. actual spend. 

Procurement Support 

  • Collaborate with the procurement team to source, bid, and negotiate contracts for capital equipment and large-scale vendor projects. 
  • Evaluate vendor proposals for pricing competitiveness, warranty coverage, service agreements, and total lifecycle cost. 
  • Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and approval workflows for capital investments. 

Vendor & Contract Management 

  • Support RFP (Request for Proposal) processes for major equipment purchases and venue development projects. 
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities for cost savings or consolidation. 
  • Ensure alignment of capital purchase terms with corporate financial goals. 

Financial Reporting & Compliance 

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual capital expenditure reports for senior leadership and the board. 
  • Ensure capital procurement aligns with GAAP, internal audit requirements, and company compliance policies. 
  • Provide variance analysis, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective action plans. 

Cross-Departmental Collaboration 

  • Work closely with Operations, Facilities, Construction and F&B teams to understand business needs and align capital investment strategies. 
  • Support new venue openings and renovations by providing financial analysis and procurement coordination. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or related field. 
  • 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, capital planning, procurement, or corporate finance; experience in hospitality, entertainment, or retail preferred. 
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and spend analysis. 
  • Experience with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Coupa, Oracle, SAP, or similar). 
  • Knowledge of capital project accounting and lifecycle asset management. 
  • Communication and presentation skills to support executive decision-making. 
  • Ability to balance detail orientation with big-picture strategic thinking.

The approximate pay rate for this position is $X-X annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually.
