Position Summary:
Perform the Customer Service function for the Contract Manufacturing Business. To ensure the highest level of customer service from the Contract Manufacturing group through timely and accurate communication, order processing, pricing management, product registration support and management of distributor and divisional relationships for all customers supported by the business.
Essential Job Functions:
A. Order Processing and Scheduling
- Order entry
- ▪ Edit products, pricing, bill to and ship to location
- ▪ Sends acknowledgement for confirmation
- ▪ Process orders and edits changes if applicable
- ▪ Enter all orders within 24-48 hours of receipt of order
2. Order Fulfillment/Shipment Follow up
- ▪ Proactive initiative for complete order fulfillment
- ▪ Proactive monitoring product availability for shipping
- ▪ Coordinates and schedules shipment through freight forwarder
- ▪ Manage shipping cost and charges through accurate order processing, timely processing of orders and proactive follow up to clear outstanding issues
- ▪ Research and apply customer discount and freight charges
- ▪ Proactively initiate, streamline, and implement procedures for efficiency
- ▪ Understanding the compliance of export documents
- ▪ High demand of service, high capacity of orders, consistency and various changes
B. Communications
- ▪ Conveys inventory availability issues from SAI to the customers
- ▪ Communicate lead times (order processing and open stock) and schedules for shipment
- ▪ Follow up for clarity, to provide updates, to resolve outstanding issues and to communicate high standards of customer satisfaction to Distributors and Business Managers
- ▪ Actively involved in representing overseas stakeholders in internal meetings to provide input, feedback and recommendations
- ▪ Daily open communication and correspondence through internal and external customers
- ▪ Open communications and understanding their business to streamline process and deliver a level of service to meet customers’ needs
C. Order Forecast Review
- ▪ Assist operations in assuring receipt of timely and complete forecast from available contract manufacturing divisions/customers
- ▪ Assist operations with timely upload of forecast, and review of variance. Communicate as needed in SAI and with customers to resolve any issues
- ▪ Review forecast variance report (when developed) and assist operations in alerting the customer on areas of concern
All other duties as assigned.
Education
- High School Degree or Equivalent minimum. BS degree preferred.
Knowledge/Experience
- 3 years of International business/ export experience with fluency in export management, documentation and trade agreements.
- Foreign language skills a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience in credit and collections.
- A good team player with a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in AS400, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a must.
Abilities
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Detail oriented with strong ability in time management, problem solving, organization and follow through skills.
- Ability to interact with customers, external associations and all levels of management.

The pay range for this position Manufacturing Admin is $27.24 to $38.14. However, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus depending on company performance.
