This position may be filled remotely, or in any of our locations.
The Reporting & Dashboard Analyst will design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards that measure firm performance across business and administrative functions. This role supports internal stakeholders including IT, Accounting, HR, Attorneys, Paralegals, Risk Management, Recruiting, and C-Suite Executives. Responsibilities include consulting with stakeholders, gathering and defining requirements, managing reporting projects, extracting and validating data, and creating reports and dashboards using industry-standard tools and best practices. Essential functions include:
- Manage and optimize legal, financial, and administrative databases.
- Build and maintain ETL processes using SQL, Python, and other scripting tools.
- Analyze and validate data to confirm accuracy and reliability of critical business information.
- Design and implement data visualization solutions using Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Plan, develop, and deliver reports in response to leadership and business requests.
- Prepare summaries and visual outputs (Excel reports, dashboards, or other formats) for non-technical stakeholders.
- Document reports and maintain a business intelligence framework to streamline future reporting.
- Implement workflows and automation using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Create and enforce standard development procedures to maintain consistency across reports and dashboards.
- Develop and apply statistical models to evaluate datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Maintain current knowledge of internal systems to support legal, financial, and operations teams in accessing data.
- Partner with IT, Accounting, HR, attorneys, executives, and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with Reporting Analysts to improve the firm’s reporting systems and capabilities.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server and Power BI.
- Experience working with databases and data warehouses.
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization principles and practices.
- Experience with Elite 3E or Intapp products preferred.
- Working knowledge of accounting and finance preferred.
- Familiarity with law firm operations and legal processes a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to define and communicate desired outcomes clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective collaboration with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:
- State of California: $94,000 - $180,000
- State of Colorado: $87,000 - $155,000
- State of Illinois: $85,000 - $165,000
- State of Massachusetts: $94,000 - $180,000
- State of Maryland: $91,000 - $138,000
- State of Minnesota: $94,000 - $156,000
- Jersey City, NJ: $102,000 - $186,000
- State of New York: $88,000 - $190,000
- State of Vermont: $93,000 - $179,000
- State of Washington: $91,000 - $173,000
- Washington, D.C.: $122,000 - $179,000
The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
