Description
We’re seeking an Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO who can do more than manage a calendar. This role is about creating leverage: freeing the CEO’s time, ensuring the right priorities get attention, and keeping the flow of meetings, communications, and follow-ups running smoothly across high-profile customers, investors, and the Seasats leadership team.
If this is you, you’ll find yourself at the heart of a mission-driven team leading a global change in how humans interact with the oceans. You’ll have visibility into fundraising, sales, team building, engineering milestones, and executive strategy. If you thrive in high-energy environments and want to help a company scale to breakout growth, this will be a front seat position doing just that.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the CEO’s calendar with ruthless prioritization and attention to detail.
- Coordinate high-stakes meetings with customers, investors, and partners.
- Handle travel logistics, expense reports, and event coordination.
- Triage CEO inbox: flag urgent items, forward or delegate to leadership, and track open loops.
- Prepare concise meeting briefs so the CEO is always ready to engage external stakeholders.
- Partner with the Chief of Staff and CFO to ensure alignment on key initiatives and deadlines.
- Ensure follow-ups from meetings actually get closed, chasing internal owners as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- A desire to get as much done in a day as possible.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Experience supporting executives (bonus areas: startup, defense, or high-growth environment).
- A friendly, upbeat attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A tendency to go above and beyond without being asked.
- A customer service-oriented outlook.
- Expert loop-closing power.
- Comfortable in a dynamic rapidly changing environment.
Pay and Benefits
Salary: $80,000-$110,000 base + stock options.
Along with your salary, you’ll receive perks including:
- Competitive insurance (including a 99% employer-covered Gold HMO plan or other options)
- 401k matching up to 4% of salary
- Four free lunches per week
- An employee activity fund
- A pet-friendly office
- Unlimited/Flex PTO
