Sales Executive, Good Food and Fairs (up to £28,000)

About the role
As Sales Executive for Immediate Live, you will be part of the team selling across the Good Food and Historic Royal Palaces Festivals portfolio. Reporting into the Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling stand space across the events, to both existing and new clients – from small artisan producers to well-known household brands.

This role requires good listening and communication skills to manage you own business as well as work within a team.
As a Sales Executive you will responsible for;
- Selling stand space and sponsorship to new and existing business, demonstrating good phone skills, delivering high quality proposals and emails as part of the sales process. You will meet all sales targets and agreed KPI’s.
- Selling all agreed assets and stand space, with a focus on increased yield and average order value.
- Making 100 calls a week or 2 hours call time, majority of your sales will be new business, and therefore cold calls are part of the sales process.
- Your own pipeline: identifying prospects, actively selling, and closing business. You will communicate pledges and forecasts with accuracy and have a good understanding of the performance of the team you work with.
- Using and managing the CRM system, ensuring you use it for all customer contact, understanding client history and will maintain it to be accurate and up to date.
- Identify new business opportunities and attending competitor shows, as agreed with your line manager. You will monitor your own success at these events.
- Attending weekly sales meetings and be aware of the meeting objectives, participation requirements and ensuring actions are acted on and reviewed.
- Ownership of your client debt and will liaison with the finance team to manage and resolve any issues.
- Participating in an onsite rebook as planned by the Sales Development Manager, working toward all targets set.
- Attend all agreed Immediate Live shows with your line manager and should expect during these times, that you may need to spend consecutive nights at the show location.
