Visier gives organizations a Workforce AI Edge: a set of AI-powered capabilities that help leaders understand the relationship between people and work, elevate the productivity of their employees, and win by adapting to change faster. We're a global leader in AI-powered people analytics, workforce planning, and compensation management solutions. All Visier technology is underpinned by its Real-time People Data Platform, which uses AI to unlock the business-transforming potential of people data, work data, and the fusion of both.
Founded in 2010 by the pioneers of business intelligence, Visier has over 60k customers in 75 countries - including enterprises like BASF, Panasonic, Experian, Amgen, eBay, Ford Motor Company, and more.
Are you motivated by seeing your impact as a strategic consultant to leaders? Do you apply a strong understanding of the business you’re in to offer advice and solutions that work backwards from “what’s the problem” - even if those solutions aren’t always traditional HR answers? Are you energized by the idea of working for a company with a 15-year track record of helping leaders make better decisions using people data?
If so, then you’ll be happy to hear that our Visier P&C team is growing, and we are looking for a People Business Partner to work with our Customer Success, Embedded Analytics, APAC, and Back Office Teams. Your client group spans multiple countries with a wide array of roles and you’ll be working alongside some fantastic leaders who are on a mission to deliver results to our customers and create team cultures that foster empowerment and high performance.
This is an opportunity to be strategic, work independently and drive meaningful business impact that you can be proud of. You don’t necessarily need to come from an HR background - so long as you understand business and are comfortable building relationships and offering solutions to nuanced problems.
What You’ll Be Doing…
- Act as a Consultant: Partner with your client group to deeply understand key business priorities and provide tailored talent initiatives and advice to help achieve those priorities.
- Coach Managers for Success: Provide partnership to our people managers, helping them develop their skills to be even more effective, while also deploying our own solutions to accelerate their journey of manager effectiveness.
- Facilitate Talent Development: Work with leaders to assess organizational needs and support the development of talent density within your client group.
- Resolve Employee Relations: Manage employee relations cases from start to finish, applying your knowledge of best practices and employment law alongside your understanding of business priorities.
- Champion Data-Driven Decisions: Use our industry-leading people analytics platform to bring forward insights and help leaders make better decisions.
- Lead Projects and Initiatives: Take the initiative to lead talent-related projects and programs of scope within the People & Culture team (this year we are focusing on manager effectiveness and radical candor).
What You’ll Bring to the Table…
- 6+ years of progressive experience as a business consultant - this may be in HR, consulting, change management or org transformation, or sales.
- Relevant post-secondary qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record of effective partnership and/or consultation that has led to business outcomes.
- Excellent business acumen and a broad view of critical thinking and problem-solving that looks beyond traditional HR solutions.
- Functional knowledge of Canadian and US employment law or a strong commitment to learning.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation.
- A career-level professional who works independently and can provide mentorship to junior team members.
