Position Summary:
The Trainer, under direction of the Safety & Compliance Manager, creates a great experience for Tiger Employees and Customers by improving upon, current and newly hired, Driver and Helper skill sets, along with modifying employee behavior to obtain a safe and compliant work environment.
Essential Functions:
- Ensures new drivers and helpers obtain the skill sets necessary to safely and efficiently complete routes while exhibiting Tiger Values
- Provides hands on field training to all drivers and helpers
- Ensures all drivers and helpers exhibit safe, compliant, and efficient work behaviors
- Provides constructive feedback to achieve behavior change for Drivers and Helpers, as needed
- Conducts quality field observations, including inspection of documents, vehicle condition, PPE, cart placement, damaged cart assessment, overall employee performance and compliance with safety rules, regulations, and company expectations within all lines of business
- Ensures that Drivers are operating vehicles in accordance with OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal laws
- Serve as the site subject matter for learning materials
- Create and manage training materials while utilizing PowerPoint, Word, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Adobe, etc.
- Evaluate existing instructional content and keep up-to-date research and implement new approaches and techniques into training
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Education and Experience
- Possess a valid Class A or B Driver’s License, required
- 2 years of professional commercial driving experience, preferred
- Bilingual preferred
Working Conditions
This position will be mostly based in an outdoor environment, exposed to the elements, with extended periods of standing, sitting, squatting, climbing, reaching, and lifting.
