About the Role:

As a Computer Vision/AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing reliable, maintainable, and scalable CV systems. In this role, you’ll apply computer vision and machine learning to real-world challenges, integrating classical CV techniques and deep learning into production-ready products.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with product managers to translate real-world challenges into practical CV/ML solutions that create a measurable impact
  • Design and develop computer vision and vision-language solutions using both classical techniques and modern AI approaches
  • Optimize, deploy, and support models across cloud and edge environments, ensuring efficiency and robustness
  • Establish evaluation frameworks for CV and VLM models, including real-world performance metrics
  • Monitor deployed systems, debug issues, and refine models with new data or improved architectures
  • Stay up to date with emerging research in computer vision; apply new techniques to improve vision products

Requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in software development
  • 3+ years’ experience building CV systems using Python or C++, including real-time inference, deployment pipelines, and model optimization
  • Strong foundation in both classical CV and deep learning approaches
  • Proficient in frameworks such as PyTorch
  • Experience in designing and running evaluation frameworks for vision and multimodal models 
  • Experience deploying production CV/ML systems
  • Experience with ML Ops practices for monitoring, logging, and maintaining deployed AI systems
  • Experience in the life science, healthcare or technology industry an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • French oral and written communication skill is an asset
  • You are legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship
