Job Description:The incumbent's mandate will be to work closely with the organization (corporate sectors and business expertise centers), to identify and analyze business needs arising from business initiatives as well as strategic initiatives. He/she will ensure the traceability of needs, from the definition of business initiatives to the deployment of recommended technological solutions. The incumbent will act as a true strategic advisor to the various business sectors, and as a liaison between the different teams in the Information Technology Vice-Presidency responsible for implementing, supporting and improving solutions. The person in charge may be required to manage the backlog of business requirements leading to requests for changes to the ERP and CRM systems supporting both financial processes and core business processes (lead-to-cash value chain).
Primary Responsibilities
Support business sectors in implementing various initiatives to achieve prioritized strategic objectives
Understand the business context it will support, so as to identify the impact of process and solution evolution on the organization's operations
Carry out the various stages of the demand management process
Analyze current business processes and define future business processes
Identify, analyze, document, prioritize and validate the organization's business needs and requirements
Collaborate with IT architects and functional analysts to identify solutions and transform functional requirements into technical specifications
Contribute to change management
Facilitate product and service implementation while ensuring that the advertised value is met
Contribute to the development of the test strategy and define the acceptance test plan
Work in collaboration with the Operational Excellence department, which undertakes continuous improvement initiatives related to the quality system
Support the business sector during the deployment of new processes, tools or technological solutions
Skills and competencies required
Experience in preparing IT project studies (cost-benefit analyses, business cases)
Knowledge of project delivery methodologies (Cascades and Agile) and development cycles
Knowledge of ticket and project management software (Atlassian, ServiceDesk) or any other equivalent software, an asset
General ERP knowledge an asset
Knowledge of the BPMN 2.0 process documentation standard, an asset
Proven aptitude for teamwork, collaboration and customer service
Rigorous, respectful of existing methodologies, deadlines and activities under his/her responsibility
Strong analytical, problem-solving and information-processing skills
Autonomy, curiosity and the ability to learn quickly in order to deliver in a changing environment
Influence, persuade and be recognized as an agent of change
Customer focus
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
Advanced workshop facilitation, peer presentation and leadership skills
University or college studies in business, computer science or engineering
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
Training or experience as a business analyst or product owner, an asset
Knowledge of the professional services industry an asset
Bilingual English and French (spoken and written): bilingualism is an essential requirement for this position, as it enables effective collaboration with our various stakeholders
Certifications such as Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) or Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®), an asset
