This role will be required to be onsite 5 days per week at our Headquarters, located in Fort Mill, South Carolina (near Charlotte, North Carolina). 

Red Ventures is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Technician to join our team! This role will partner closely with our Facilities Manager and Director of Facilities to support in the safe management and preventative maintenance of RV Campus Facilities. Specifically, this role requires versatility in plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and event setup, along with strong problem-solving and organizational skills. We’re looking for someone who is a reliable, service-oriented individual who can work independently, respond quickly to issues, and support both technical and administrative facilities needs.

What You’ll Do:

General Maintenance & Repairs

    • Perform routine and detailed maintenance tasks, including:
      • Drywall patching and painting
      • Door and lock repairs
      • Furniture and fixture repairs
      • Minor plumbing (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing faucets)
      • Minor electrical (e.g., replacing light bulbs, outlets, switches)
      • HVAC  basic troubleshooting
    • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance for equipment, tools, and building systems
    • Identify repair needs and escalate larger issues to management or specialized contractors
    • Maintain tools, supplies, and workspaces in clean, safe condition

Facility & Campus Upkeep

    • Carry out daily inspections of assigned buildings and campus spaces to identify safety or maintenance concerns
    • Assist with or independently perform cleaning tasks in interior and exterior areas as needed, including:
      • Power washing walkways and outdoor surfaces
      • Trash and debris removal
      • Emergency cleanup (e.g., spills, weather-related damage)

Work Request & Office Support

    • Allocate designated hours each week to:
      • Assist with administrative tasks related to the Facilities Work Request System
      • Submit requests to management for purchasing tools, supplies, or materials
      • Track and organize inventory of maintenance supplies
    • Adhere to established procedures and timelines for processing and completing work orders
    • Complete all required documentation for tasks performed accurately and in a timely manner

Event Setup & Support 

    • Oversee and assist with event logistics, including:
      • Reviewing and executing room or area setup plans (tables, chairs, equipment)
      • Coordinating and performing breakdown and cleanup
      • Ensuring spaces are returned to original condition promptly
    • Support audio-visual setup, temporary lighting, and safety measures as needed

Safety & Compliance

    • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
    • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or injuries promptly to manager
    • Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and organizational policies

Additional Duties

    • Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly, including after-hours or on-call shifts as needed
    • Assist other facilities staff or contractors as directed
    • Provide courteous and professional assistance to staff, RV employees, and visitors as a representative of the facilities team

  

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a similar role
  • Inclusive of skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and/or general repairs (drywall, doors, furniture, etc.)
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely response to repair needs
  • Familiarity with safety protocols, PPE use, and compliance with building codes and organizational standards
  • Comfort with administrative responsibilities such as managing work requests, tracking inventory, and documenting tasks
  • Familiarity with supporting event setup and logistics, including furniture arrangement, A/V, and cleanup
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks/urgent priorities 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide professional customer service to employees and visitors
  • Reliable, service-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members

  

Compensation: 

  • Cash Compensation Range: $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr*
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience
