A healthy pipeline is critical for sustainable business success. Collaborating across functions, the role sets ambitious demand goals for the organization and devises and executes high-impact demand generation programs to achieve them.
You’ll leverage data, market insights, and collaboration with go-to-market teams to build scalable programs that meet customer needs and fuel revenue growth. This is a high-impact role for someone who understands both customer success and the revenue engine of a modern SaaS company.
You will drive success in the following ways:
- As the Demand Management lead for Customer Experience, you ensure proper focus on pipeline, safeguarding the business with a CQ to CQ+6 focus.
- Establishes and owns of the Demand Generation for the global Customer Experience unit and its processes.
- Sets strategic goals for regions/market units with Customer Experience deployments and ensures adequate execution with the market units to realistically achieve them.
- Develops and manages demand generation focused flagship programs across the Customer Experience market units in close collaboration with the regional and local demand generation and marketing teams including key elements such as Account Planning, DG Summits and marketing campaigns/events to outline the SAP solution capabilities, value proposition and key differentiators to further stimulate demand.
- Steers demand execution to ensure contribution across all sources of demand for Customer Experience. Drives and creates best practices to enable collaboration and integration across sources and teams.
- Supports in business development activities including sales play generation with the broader team across relevant industries and regions.
- Collaborates and drives demand generation closely on global level and across the Customer Experience market units with Marketing, Chief Business Offices and other key stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Success Partners, Partner Ecosystem Success, and Revenue Operations to achieve the demand generation goals.
- Close collaboration with relevant SI / resell partners for SAP Customer Experience to drive additional channels of demand.
- Assesses business impact of programs, campaigns, methods, and generates best practices and lessons learnt which can be shared with other teams across Customer Experience.
- Provide visibility to stakeholders on required corrective measures to drive sustainable success from bookings, revenue and renewals perspective
- Identify GTM/execution hurdles and propose risk mitigation strategies.
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years proven track record of driving business results in Demand Management/Generation, and /or Business Development
- Strong Business Acumen with an understanding of the SAP Customer Experience portfolio.
- Excellent organizational, business planning, and program / project management skills
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of innovative thinking, change agility, resilience and integrity.
- Proven communication and relationship-building skills given global environment and matrix organization.
- Strong team player driving outcomes in a diverse and dynamic organization.
- Demonstrated success in working in a matrix environment.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve problems
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills
- Easy to work with

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 194,100-411,600 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
