Sales & Project Finance Manager – Sun Atlas Power (EPC Division) 

We are seeking a Sales & Project Finance Manager with strong solar finance expertise to oversee sales operations while ensuring the financial viability of projects at the point of sale. This hybrid role bridges sales, finance, and operations, aligning customer acquisition with lender requirements to support rapid growth in our EPC and distribution business. 

Key Responsibilities 

Sales Leadership 

  • Manage and support the sales team in achieving growth targets across residential and commercial solar projects.
  • Oversee sales pipeline reporting, forecasting, and KPI performance.
  • Ensure alignment between sales, design, and operations for accurate proposals and smooth project handoff.

Deal Finance Coordination 

  • Validate loan and financing structures at the point of sale to ensure project viability.
  • Serve as the primary interface with financing partners (TPO, PPA, and loan providers).
  • Track project funding timelines and ensure milestone-based documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain lender relationships and coordinate submission of required data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner with AP/AR and finance teams to align collections, payments, and reporting.
  • Support compliance with tax incentives (ITC/PTC) and state-level programs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to refine the customer experience.

 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • 5+ years in solar sales, project finance, or related renewable energy experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading sales teams and meeting revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of solar finance structures, including milestone requirements (NTP, COD, PTO).
  • Experience managing relationships with lenders, financiers, or structured finance partners.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred 

  • Established industry contacts with solar lenders and financing companies.
  • Background in project finance, structured finance, or deal structuring.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, pipeline management, and financial reporting.
  • NABCEP or other solar industry certifications are a plus.
