Position Overview:
The Project Cost Support Specialist will be a member of our new Magnetics business headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a rare opportunity to have an early role in tracking and controlling contractor activities for greenfield advanced manufacturing facilities that are shaping the future of American manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on team member with experience in capital projects. The Project Cost Support Specialist will need to be able to make independent decisions while being organized, versatile, disciplined, and always willing to learn new things. The role is responsible for managing construction labor, material and equipment in the field contributing to project execution at MP.
Position Responsibilities:
- Track and resolve all exceptions with badge errors.
- Manage labor resources assignments (Skills, Schedules, Pay Formulas, Other Charges).
- Recalculate the hours for all listed labor resources.
- Approve, reject, review or decline all override requests.
- View labor, material and equipment not allocated.
- View unaccepted allocations.
- Void timesheets (as needed).
- Run reports to ensure all contractors and associated subcontractors’ reports coincide with MP’s contract.
- Develop capital project processes and procedures.
- Create summary dashboards.
- Occasional travel to subcontractor locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Invoice processing experience.
- Procurement experience.
- Minimum three years’ administrative support experience.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business-related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desired Qualities:
- Construction or capital project experience.
- Experience with MyTrack Software is highly desirable.
- Capable of managing and analyzing large amounts of data for accuracy.
- Proficient in data entry and management.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office; strong working knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work and connect with all levels of management and individual contributors.
