Meet the team behind this journey

We are seeking a Sr UX/UI Designer responsible for the visual and experience design across our web domains, primarily deepl.com.

This role will report to the Director, Creative Studio and will collaborate very closely with our Content Experience (CEX) team. While Creative Studio and CEX are the main players to interact with in the marketing org, you will establish relationships with the product, campaigns, comms teams, and more.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track designing web experiences in the B2B SaaS space. To be successful in this role you need to be an excellent visual designer with a strong foot in User Experience design and a great understanding of content flow and hierarchy.

Your responsibilities

  • Create world class visual designs and experiences that engage our audiences, are on-brand, and continue to push the envelope of web design, that drive conversions

  • Translate our brand design into delightful, engaging, and drive performance.

  • Building out and maintaining our digital design system and component libraries in close collaboration with CEX and product.

  • Build low and hi-fidelity wireframes across breakpoints

  • Create and test prototypes

  • Leveraging AI to scale processes.

  • Providing a clear approach and framework for A/B testing.

  • Have an understanding of how animation and micro interactions can support the experience.

  • Analyze web metrics and turn insights into proposals and action against them.

  • 'Conduct and evaluative user research to define problems and validate solutions"

  • Work with front-end web developers to deploy designs.

  • Present and discuss designs with leadership and senior stakeholders.

  • Lead and provide feedback to more junior designers.

Qualities we look for

  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience successfully creating web design for medium to large B2B SaaS organizations that performs and drive results.

  • Bachelor degree or higher in a design program.

  • Sound understanding of the latest web technologies and their roles: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Lotti, Rife, etc.

  • Expert understanding of design fundamentals (type, color, imagery), responsive layout and grid systems

  • Proven track record of successfully completing projects from concept to launch

  • Strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography

  • Excellent time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy

  • Deep understanding of digital strategy, information architecture, customer journeys.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.

  • Experience with Jira and Asana is a plus.

  • Fluent in English

  • Experienced in picking the right approach from a broad range of design methodologies from workshops to brainstorming sessions, from user testing to A/B testing
