Description

DecisiveInstincts, LLC is looking for a Project Manager III  located in Charleston, SC. DecisiveInstincts, LLC, is a joint venture (ActioNet and Akamai Intelligence) that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. In this role, you will be responsible for managing enterprise data center and cloud hosting projects, including technology assessments, systems design, and adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies.

Estimated Start Date:  November 2025

As the Project Manager III, you will oversee project personnel, schedules, work assignments, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will lead and support team members, foster a collaborative work environment, and engage with customers to develop strategies aligned with their mission. You will also support technology assessments, acquisition planning, and budget planning, ensuring compliance with all relevant DoD standards and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in directing, executing, and controlling all elements of the task order, including cost, schedule, and performance reporting.
  • Support technology assessments, systems design, systems analysis, and programmatic support.
  • Manage project personnel, schedules, work assignments, and resource allocation.
  • Lead, mentor, and support team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant DoD and industry standards, guidelines, and policies.
  • Provide programmatic support and assist customers in developing strategies and concepts.
  • Generate and ensure timely submission of all required reports, including CDRL reports.
  • Assist in proposal capture and development activities.
  • Support with recommendations for developing and deploying the organization’s metrics and data strategy.
  • Perform quality assurance of data elements to validate report accuracy.
  • Perform data mining, analysis, and reporting activities to support management inquiries.
Basic Qualifications: 
  • US Citizen, eligible for clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification, or DAWIA Advanced/Level 2-3 in Program Management.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of technical experience in support of programs/projects.
  • At least eight (8) years of program management experience, including technology assessments, systems design, systems analysis, programmatic support, acquisition planning, and budget planning.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing enterprise data center or cloud hosting projects.
  • Experience with C4ISR or similar programs/projects.
  • Experience as an Agile/Scrum PM, including design/development, production, installation, and test & evaluation of enterprise datacenter and cloud hosting environments.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, and ServiceNow
