Testing Specialist

SCS Training Support Services 

 

WORK LOCATION & SCHEDULE 

  • Alabama
    • This position will be located at APC Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL 

 

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Testing Specialist will be instrumental in managing both validated and non-validated testing systems, utilizing their expertise to integrate and optimize testing environments effectively. This position involves identifying process gaps, seeking efficiencies, and establishing standardized protocols for all testing assessment data. The Testing Specialist will collaborate closely with the department's Subject Matter Resources (SMRs) to design and update tests, ensuring they align with evolving job requirements and technological advancements. Key responsibilities include tracking and analyzing exam data to identify trends and resolve issues, as well as proactively identifying internal gaps to enhance test creation processes. Additionally, the Testing Specialist will oversee the creation and accessibility of test resources on the internal web page and manage the storage and retention of data, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with business objectives.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 

Experience: 

  • Possesses a customer-service mindset and exceptional interpersonal skills are required 
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and integrate various systems to create a unified testing environment.
  • Expertise in building real-time dashboards for monitoring training engagement, success metrics, and risks.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and leading testing and proctoring programs with a strong focus on change management strategies is required
  • The ability to drive alignment across departments to ensure training tools and metrics meet business needs.
  • Skilled in designing and implementing customer education and communication programs.
  • Experience in centralizing training resources to improve efficiency and cross-functional alignment
  • Strong collaboration skills with analytics and Power BI teams to evaluate training impact and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Proficient in automating and scaling client processes to improve efficiency, standardization, and consistent results.
  • Capable of using participant and customer feedback to enhance testing content design, delivery strategies, and data analytics 
  • Advanced proficiency in tools and platforms such as PowerBI, Tableau, and MS Office Suite are required
  • Key competencies include Training Needs Analysis, Job Task Analysis, Stakeholder Communication, Program Management, Cross-Functional Consulting, Change Management, and Curriculum Implementation Oversight.

 

 

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and implement standardization programs and change management strategies to drive alignment across departments and meet business needs.
  • Centralize training resources to improve efficiency and cross-functional alignment, enhancing the overall training experience.
  • Utilize participant and customer feedback to refine testing content design, delivery strategies, and data analytics for continuous improvement.
