Control Risks is seeking a Coordinator to support travel security for a prominent technology client.
The Travel Security Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient travel security operation of our business. This role involves a blend of customer support, logistics coordination, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Tasks and responsibilities
Support Tickets
- Respond promptly to support tickets submitted by employees travelling to higher risk countries, utilizing holding messages or canned responses as appropriate
- Accurately route support tickets according to established standard operating procedures
- Escalate re-opened and complex support tickets to the Operations Manager
Transportation Requests
- Monitor transportation requests and ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Provide support to users experiencing issues with transportation requests within the same business day
- Proactively coordinate with client-vetted transportation suppliers to address and resolve any obstacles
- Escalate unresolved transportation issues to the Operations Manager for further action
Documentation and Analysis
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all transportation-related issues and their resolution.
- Develop and implement standardized data collection procedures from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Analyze current administrative processes on a monthly or quarterly basis, as requested by the client, to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
- Translate complex data and concepts into clear and concise insights
- Generate monthly reports that provide insights into operational performance
- Design and produce high-quality slide deck presentations
- Develop and maintain a well-organized and easily accessible system for team documentation and shared drives.
Requirements
Experience and education:
- 3-4 years of experience in a role involving customer support, logistics coordination, or data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese required. Spanish abilities desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to apply data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar) and techniques to interpret and present complex information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively.
