🐾 About the Role
As a Practice Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of our hospital operations—balancing clinical excellence with operational leadership. This dynamic role is split between providing top-tier veterinary technician support (60–80% of your time) and managing key operational functions like scheduling, payroll, training, and client service.
 
You’ll work closely with the Operations Advisor and hospital leadership to ensure smooth daily operations, exceptional patient care, and a supportive, empowered team environment.
 
💼 What You’ll Do
  • Lead daily hospital operations and act as the go-to resource for your team
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, and timesheets with precision
  • Train and coach team members on best practices and client service standards
  • Resolve client concerns and ensure a seamless client experience
  • Support inventory, equipment, and facility management
  • Play an active role in hospital performance and goal achievement
  • Serve as a Veterinary Technician during most shifts
🎯 What We’re Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED (college coursework preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in veterinary, client service, or leadership roles
  • Current Virginia Veterinary Technician License required
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospital systems
  • A collaborative spirit and a commitment to excellence
💪 Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Comfortable with physical tasks like kneeling, crouching, and carrying
