Objective
The part-time student Event Assistant reports directly to the Event Support Manager. This position supports internal and external events through work orders, signage, and other essential event needs by request.
Essential Functions

- Use event software to check on work orders, fulfill assignments, and communicate with team members.
- Complete all assignments on Basecamp by the assigned date.
- Maintain a working knowledge of work order formats and submit them accurately.
- Communicate with event hosts and service providers if requested.
- Work Graduation Day (and other events upon request) with great problem-solving and customer service skills
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Event Support Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a full-time student on Moody’s Chicago campus.
- Organized and timely
- Working at least 4 days per week (hours vary based on student availability)
Preferred Requirements
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work on graduation day (unless participating in the ceremony)

This position works out of the Facilities Management Office in Crowell basement. Computer work is required while working 10-15 hours a week from Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
