Job Summary:
Neumo is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. Reporting to the Controller / Assistant Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working closely with various departments to provide insightful financial analysis, support strategic decision-making and gain management experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and be involved in the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance.
- Manage and mentor the (Bank Reconciliation Associate), ensuring that accounts are reconciled daily.
- Prepare and manage the cash forecasting process.
- Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
- Perform reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts, prepaid expenses, accruals, inventory and capitalized software.
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with direct interaction with the FP&A team.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and systems.
- Become proficient using the ERP system.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as needed.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, and operations, to understand business activities and their financial implications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 7 years of combined corporate and public accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Experience with multi-currency and transfer pricing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Sage Intacct.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with intercompany and consolidation accounting.

Work Environment:
- Office setting with a moderate noise level.
- The employee will work at an individual workstation, using a telephone and computer.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain seated for extended periods.

- Occasional movement around the office.
- Frequent communication via telephone.
