About this Role:

The Pharmacy Automation Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in leading end-to-end implementations of Capsa’s central fill systems. This includes workflow consulting, on-site preparation, training, and go-live support. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and pharmacy staff to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of Capsa Healthcare central fulfillment mail order solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • With project manager, lead end-to-end implementation of Capsa central fill systems, including workflow consulting onsite preparation, training and go-live support
  • Collaborate with project managers to define scope, timelines, and resource needs
  • Conduct on-site and remote training sessions for pharmacy staff and operational teams
  • Develop customized SOPs and training materials tailored to each customer’s environment
  • Deliver consultative insights to improve operational efficiency, medication safety, and compliance
  • Conduct follow-up evaluations and training reviews to ensure solution success
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of automation systems
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Capsa’s central fill automation portfolio, including Kirby Lester and RoboPharma technologies. Serve as a customer and internal subject matter expert
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on product enhancements and customer needs
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project and process documentation
  • Identify areas for improvement in the product(s) and implementation process and recommend changes
  • Work with Product Management to identify enhancements and improvements to products
  • Manage all vendor relationships associated with delivery of Pharmacy Automation Central Fill equipment
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned.

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, with at least 2 years in central fill environments
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing automation systems, preferably in the healthcare or pharmacy industry is strongly preferred
  • Experience with pharmacy automation systems/central fulfillment solutions 
  • Experience in high-volume mail-order or retail central fill operations
  • Ability to travel up to 12 weeks for initial onboarding training
  • 80-100% travel required
