POSITION SUMMARY:

The LMS Super User / System Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the effective use, performance, and integrity of the Blue Yonder Labor Management System (Warehouse Labor Management – WLM) and related technologies. This role provides technical, administrative, and training support to Operations leadership and staff, serving as the primary point of contact for system optimization, troubleshooting, and end-user support. Additionally, this position coordinates with Lucas Systems on equipment repairs and enhancements to ensure the seamless operation of voice-picking technology.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Training & Support
    1. Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for Operations leadership and administrative staff to drive system adoption and data accuracy.
    2. Create and maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and user guides to support consistent system usage.
  • System Administration
    1. Leads system strategy and configuration decisions for Blue Yonder LMS, providing guidance on labor standards, reporting optimization, and operational efficiency improvements that materially impact business outcomes
    2. Advising leadership on LMS utilization, efficiency improvements, and labor strategy.
    3. In partnership with leadership, develop policies, optimize workflows, and make recommendations that impact operations strategy.
    4. Manage user access, security roles, and system configurations in line with organizational policies.
    5. Data governance strategy, ensuring data integrity across LMS platforms by establishing validation protocols and directing corrective actions.
    6. Conduct regular system audits, ensuring accuracy of user profiles, time values, and reporting structures.
  • Issue Resolution & Collaboration
    1. Conducts root cause analysis of systemic issues, designs corrective solutions, and recommends process or technology enhancements to senior leadership.
    2. Serve as the liaison between Operations, Blue Yonder, and Lucas Systems for escalated system issues.
    3. Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to support the development and refinement of SOPs.
  • Data Management & Reporting
    1. Develop and maintain customized reports to meet operational needs.
    2. Review reporting accuracy, troubleshoot errors, and implement timely updates.
    3. Provide oversight and quality assurance for data entry, reporting, and timekeeping processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Equipment Oversight
    1. Coordinate repairs and monitor the performance of Lucas voice-picking equipment.
    2. Identify opportunities for equipment improvements and escalate recommendations appropriately.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting and resolving system or reporting issues.
  • Proven ability to train individuals and groups, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in preparing SOPs, documentation, and training presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VBA macros); proficiency with Word; familiarity with databases (Access a plus).
  • Prior experience with RedPrairie/JDA/Blue Yonder LMS and Lucas Voice-Picking Systems or similar platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with a track record of accuracy, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, Data Science, Analytics, or Mathematics required.
