About the Role:
The Heavy Truck Mechanic plays a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of heavy-duty trucks within the non-durable goods manufacturing sector. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy trucks to minimize downtime and support continuous production and distribution activities. The mechanic will work closely with the maintenance team to implement preventative maintenance schedules and respond promptly to breakdowns or malfunctions. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are paramount to protect both personnel and equipment. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal heavy truck mechanic training program or apprenticeship.
