First Electronic Bank is looking to add a Cloud Engineer that supports the Bank’s cloud strategy by implementing, managing, and optimizing Azure-based solutions. This role works closely with the IT Manager/Cloud Architect to ensure secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud operations.


Job Responsibilities:  

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure cloud resources (VMs, storage, networking, databases, etc.) using infrastructure-as-code practices and integrate with CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent, automated, and reliable delivery. 
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost. 
  • Implement security controls and compliance measures in Azure environments. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues. 
  • Assist in migrating on-premises workloads to Azure. 
  • Automate cloud operations using scripts and Azure tools. 
  • Document cloud architecture, procedures, and best practices. 
  • Collaborate with IT staff and business stakeholders to support cloud initiatives. 
  • Stay current with Azure updates, features, and best practices. 
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for cloud systems. 
Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:    

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and administration. 
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.). 
  • Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments. 
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. 
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect preferred. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
