Corporate Security is a functional area under the Enterprise Protection Services group dedicated to “Making Protecting the Brand Personal”. The Sr. Project Lead role will be responsible for executing a comprehensive “People Protection Strategy” with a primary focus on executive protection and intelligence gathering. The strategy will accomplish the following: create and maintain a framework for security risk identification, management & monitoring of domestic and international travel risks for executive staff and our CEO; constantly surveying for internal and external security threats and potential threat opportunities; explore and create solutions for identified security gaps; partner with others across the organization to ensure security threats are known, monitored and mitigated; and empower others through training programs and practical exercises to be security ambassadors of the brand.

Responsibilities:- Provide personal protection services to executive council staff, family ownership members and our CEO.
- Conduct threat assessments for domestic and international travel.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and related stakeholders for assistance when needed.
- Upon request, provide security consultation to executive leaders and CEO concerning personal protection strategies and security home monitoring.
- Travel with Executives, President and/or CEO. Conduct advance work for scheduled trips.
- Provide additional services related to executive protection duties e.g. driving, logistics, and personal protection.
- Conduct pre-visit assessments on venues to be visited Executives, Board Members, Cathy Family, and/or President and CEO.
- Conduct pre-visit assessments on venues used for major events.
- Respond to identified security gaps and intelligence reports related to executive protection.
- Leverage data and analytics to create and present reports on executive protection strategies.
- Partner with intelligence vendor to provide “gap” coverage when providing protection services.
- Prepare intelligence reports and briefs to executive council members and CEO when necessary.
- Partner with others across the Chick-fil-A enterprise to ensure security threats are known, monitored, mitigated with corresponding response plans to support people protection operations.
- Coordinate with the Aviation and International Team, the Family Ownership Office, Family Foundations, and Chick-fil-A entities on travel security best practice protocols and response plans.
- Conduct threat assessments for international travel for staff conducting business related activity.
- Empower others to be security ambassadors through education and awareness.
- Assist in creating a communication platform to share information with Chick-fil-A executives and Family Office about personal and business security threats – scams, Homeland Security Threat levels, general safety, and security practices.
- Provide cyber fraud training programs to the family office, as well as, senior executives.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Protection Services Team on budget stewardship.
- Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, Business or related field
- A minimum of 7 years combined experience in the corporate security industry along with a previous background in Law Enforcement, Military, Executive or Private Sector Security.
- A strong understanding of security disciplines, as well as, a background in project management.
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business or related field
- Excellent planning, organizing, written and verbal skills.
- Strong executive presence and experience engaging with senior leadership.
- Working knowledge of electronic security systems and campus facility infrastructure.
- Effective implementation skills, as well as, solid computer knowledge and a detailed understanding of electronic access control and network systems.
- Strong project management skills, and analytical skills to use data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills a must.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity practices.
