Job Summary
1. Provides functional leadership of the Strategy Execution Office which involves the operational implementation and management of projects, strategies, and financial activities, including overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating efforts, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
2. Leads the project management organization with tracking the progress of projects and programs against established plans, timelines, and budgets.
3. Under the Strategy Execution Office governs resource Management by optimizing the use of resources and managing the allocation of project teams and other scarce resources to achieve goals.
4. Complete oversite of the Risk Adjustment program, within its functions, coding and documentation, audit reviews, patient outreach, and program development.
5. Leads and manages the collection and submission of encounter data used for risk adjustment purposes. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient diagnoses documented in medical records and submissions. Oversees risk-adjusted payments by ensuring that diagnoses submitted are supported by medical record documentation, preventing improper payments.
6. Provides leadership in the annual strategic development process, prioritization and cascading initiatives that build the overall Care Model Strategy.
7. Facilitates clear and consistent communication of strategies and ensuring various teams and projects are aligned with the overall strategic direction.
8. Responsible for performance management follow up as directed by Financial Operations, Operations, AMD’s and other TSPMG Leaders.
9. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the company's overall progress. Ensure the organization’s performance against the balanced scorecard.
10. Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations.
11. Works independently with minimal supervision, often under critical deadlines.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions
1. Overseas the Strategic Management and Execution Office for the Medical Group.
2. Directs the planning, organizing, preparing and review of the regional Care Delivery Risk Adjustment Program.
3. Leads Regional Transformation efforts and project management.
4. Accountable to Sr Leadership on Updates to Performance.
5. Liaison to HP Finance, TSPMG Leaders, Accounting and Financial Operations.
6. Participates on cross departmental and cross-regional teams.
7. Prepares responses to Regional or Program Office requests.
Minimum Education
MBA or master’s degree in accounting, Business, Health Care Administration, or Finance
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
· Minimum ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible and relevant work experience.
· Expert in the use of PC spreadsheet and database applications. Ability to extract and manipulate data.
· Ability to quickly learn and assimilate new software applications.
· Familiarity with medical terminology and health plan issues and management practices. Understanding of health care norms in the community.
· Project management experience.
· Lean Six Sigma or similar consulting experience.
· Leadership and Management experience over large teams.
· Oversite of Transformation Workstreams.
Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications
· Fifteen (15) to twenty (20) years or more of healthcare &/or consulting experience.
· Significant leadership experience over cross functional teams.
· Experience in a multi-faceted health care system or healthcare related fields.
· Prior experience with hospitals, and/or large physician practices considered a plus.
· An MBA or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or Business.
· Ability to identify issues & propose methodological solutions.
· Synthesizes analyses well, highlights implications of findings.
· Ability to conduct & interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis.
· Possesses technical expertise in systems analysis and database management.
· Effective communication, consulting, interpersonal, & presentation skills.
· Expert w/ PC applications including spreadsheet, word processing, & graphics packages
