Equipment Operator - Equipment bei 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC

We are seeking skilled Equipment Operators to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of lift trucks to move, stack, and retrieve materials within a warehouse or distribution center environment. This is a vital role in our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITIES

• Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the assigned area, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Use RF gun/scanner and Warehouse Management System to research and gather information
• Operate equipment in an array of surroundings and multi-temperature settings (-10° to 40°)
• Put away, transfer, retrieve, pick and deliver materials in storage.
• Unload and load pallets from inbound and outbound trailers.
• Pick or count inventory from upper locations while on stocker picker.
• Pick and stack cartons onto a pallet for individual orders.
• Inspect equipment daily and complete pre-inspection form
• Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Perform other duties as required
