We are looking for a talented Legal Administrative Assistant-Level III to join our team specializing in Law for our Cummins Inc. facility in Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Efficient Coordination: By coordinating documents and inputting data related to administrative support duties, you will ensure smooth operations within your team or department.
  • Research and Reporting: Your work in conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and addressing information requests will provide valuable insights for decision-making processes.
  • Data Management: By gathering, compiling, verifying, and accurately entering information into various documents and systems, you will contribute to the organization’s data integrity and reliability.
  • Communication: Your role in preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings will facilitate effective communication within the organization.
  • Customer Service: By responding to or redirecting inquiries from external or internal sources, you will enhance the organization’s reputation for prompt and accurate service.
  • Policy Maintenance: By documenting and maintaining departmental policies and procedures, you will contribute to the consistency and effectiveness of the organization’s operations.
  • Teamwork and Leadership: As a team member on business improvement assignments and projects, and as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience, you will contribute to the collective success of the team and foster a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

  • Customer Focus: Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions will be key. This means understanding customer needs and meeting or exceeding their expectations.
  • Accountability: You should hold yourself and others accountable to meet commitments. This involves following through on tasks and ensuring others do the same.
  • Planning and Alignment: Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals is crucial. This means setting clear objectives and organizing resources to achieve them.
  • Data Analytics: You will need to discover, interpret, and communicate both qualitative and quantitative data. This involves applying statistics, validating data, visualizing data, and using problem-solving approaches to extract meaningful patterns and business insights.
  • Data Communication and Visualization: It is important to be able to construct a narrative of the business problem, root cause, solution options, and opportunities through illustrating data visually. This includes creating reports and dashboards that effectively communicate your findings.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. 
  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s 

qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
