In this hybrid role, you will report to the Head of Talent Research.

 

You will:

  • Lead and champion critical, high-impact functional and cross-functional projects, setting the methodology and driving adoption of new practices to elevate the effectiveness of the entire Sourcing organization.
  • Function as the primary strategic subject matter expert (SME) and trusted advisor to Executive and Senior Business Leaders, proactively shaping talent strategy and advising on market-informed sourcing needs.
  • Own and architect sourcing strategies across a complex portfolio of single or multiple critical talent ecosystems, directly impacting and meeting ambitious organizational hiring demands.
  • Identify, pilot, and integrate new AI sourcing tools and advanced techniques to significantly level up team efficiency, output, and candidate quality.
  • Design, execute, and continuously refine sophisticated, multi-channel sourcing playbooks to proactively identify, engage, and secure niche, high-demand, and executive-level talent.
  • Act as a formal mentor, coach, and technical leader on the Sourcing team, contributing to the development and scaling of the team's overall capability and expertise.
  • Leverage advanced data analytics and predictive modeling to diagnose sourcing performance, surface market trends, and drive measurable improvements and strategic investment decisions across the entire talent function.
  • Establish, manage, and scale talent pipelines for long-term organizational needs, setting the standard for quality and representation within all candidate slates.
  • Serve as a strategic co-creator alongside Senior Hiring Managers and Recruiting Leadership, collaboratively defining and managing complex hiring initiatives from inception to close.
  • Conduct high-level, strategic assessments of candidates' technical and organizational fit, prioritizing quality of engagement and advising on nuanced cultural alignment.

 

You have:

  • 12+ years of experience in technical sourcing, preferably in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Deep understanding of the Machine Learning/AI domain and related talent pools
  • Proven track record of success in sourcing and engaging passive technical candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing tools and techniques.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented.

 

We prefer:

  • Prior experience with Greenhouse ATS
  • Prior experience with GEM CRM

 

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the role location or, if the role can be performed remote, the specific salary range for your preferred location, during the hiring process. 

Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
